my sister takes pictures all the time.

so I thought I'd share a few more of her photographs.
I like these "green" ones…

an idea in the making

I don't know where this is going,
but I'm having fun with it.

I've saved the linen selvedge trim
from cutting the fabric for my tea towels.

narrow and long strips of strong fabric,
usually just tossed away.

it's become like a crossword puzzle
on my dining room table.

little by little,
I just keep adding strands,
weaving them in by hand,
wondering what it will become.

found

I rediscovered this small weaving
in a book today.

I wove it sometime last year in arizona.

so I went through
some books
where I keep leaves stashed away

and found them again.

as good as finding $20
in a pocket of a coat
you haven't worn in a year.
